Nutanix On Dell Sold by Dell .NEXT Announcement

Huge Announcement from Nutanix CEO Rajiv Ramaswami at .Next this morning:

"Today, I'm pleased to announce two new announcements with Dell. The first is that Dell is going to sell an appliance solution, taking the Nutanix cloud platform, combining that with Dell PowerEdge servers and selling that together as an appliance. It will be sold and serviced by Dell.

The second part of this which I'm equally excited about because it opens the door in a very wide way is with our hypervisor we plan to start supporting external storage. This is an absolute first for Nutanix we've never done this in the past. We will do this for IP storage. And we are starting this journey with Dell PowerFlex that will be the first to be on boarded as an external storage platform that can connect and work directly with our hypervisor. And over time, we expect to be able to broaden this to other IP connected storage"
